Coproduction Week

This week (Week commencing 13th -17th  March) is Coproduction, Involvement and Engagement week! From Scrutiny Champions, walks, and project visits, Adullam Homes Housing Association’s Services have planned a packed week of activities.

One of the goals of this week is to recruit Scrutiny Champions to improve outcomes for tenants, residents and service users (TRS). During a TRS feedback survey in November 2022, there was an expression of interest for this role, so we now hope to implement this organisation wide. The purpose of a Scrutiny Champion is for a current or recent former TRS to evaluate the performance and quality of delivery.

For Adullam services, involving and engaging TRS is an important part of their work. Examples include inviting TRS to attend Ops Committee, and weekly Bacon Butty Fridays in Bolton.

Coproduction training has been on-going prior to this week delivered by ASE Trainer David Clements, and will continue during too.

Commenting on the week, Dave Moor, Assistant Director of Quality & Assurance said: “Meaningful coproduction can lead to improved results for individuals and services, a reduction in complaints, a reduction in incidents, improved customer satisfaction, improvements in processes, increased funding opportunities. The list of positive impacts that can be achieved goes on and on.

“Let’s make the week productive, maximise our impact and the start of another fantastic year of coproduction, involvement & engagement across Adullam.

“The association proudly won a national award via Homeless Link in “The People First” category, a truly outstanding achievement with tough competition from organisations such as Shelter and Housing First.”

We look forward to sharing news throughout the week!
