Adullam appoints new Regional Manager

Adullam is delighted to announce the appointment of Dave Maxfield to the role of Regional Manager for Derbyshire and Yorkshire.

Dave has been the Operations & Property Manager at the Lifehouse in Stoke-on-Trent for the past four-and-a-half years, the last 18 months of this time working for Adullam as part of the Destination: Home partnership which provides a 24/7 support service to people in housing crisis from across the city.

It was completing a degree in Sociology and Criminology at Keele University that prompted Dave’s interest in social housing, as part of his work included researching and writing a dissertation on Homelessness and Austerity. “This gave me the curiosity to explore social housing further, especially within the supported sector,” he says.

In the role of Regional Manager Dave will be based at Adullam’s Beech House project in Congleton but plans to spend three days a week visiting the projects throughout his region. These include care leaver schemes in Buxton and Chesterfield, floating support service in Staffordshire Moorlands and a mental health floating support service in Sheffield.

Commenting on what he plans to first in his new role, Dave says:

The main focus will be to ensure that we are contractually compliant and to guide and support the teams in achieving positive outcomes for tenants, residents and service users. I am very keen to develop the areas and further expand the great work that Adullam provides to local communities. I am equally keen to meet with local authority commissioning teams to promote the services and share knowledge of different service models.”

Dave lives in Staffordshire and is married with four children.

Welcoming him to the new role, Dave Moore, Assistant Director of Quality & Support at Adullam, said:

We are very excited to see Dave assume the position of Regional Manager. He brings experience, enthusiasm and innovative thinking to the job which we recognise will help us further develop and expand our work. We wish him all the best.”
