Business Plan

Adullam works with the most vulnerable people in society today and we offer hope and dignity through quality housing and support to people in the following client groups.
Adullam provides high quality accommodation ranging from hostels, self-contained flats, bed-sits, through to houses. In addition we also work with private rental agencies, local authorities and other registered providers to further enhance the accommodation available to meet the ever changing needs of the people we support.
We are actively looking to further increase our owned stock through the purchase of existing housing or new-build properties.
Social Enterprise
Adullam has a social enterprise scheme called matt25 which is provided by Adullam staff who support, train and mentor our residents and service users through a period of training in all housing association disciplines. Accredited through the Open College Network it is our goal for all Adullam clients to find permanent employment following their training and work experience whereby they have the opportunity to obtain an NVQ Level 2 qualification.
Investor in Excellence
Awarded the Investor in Excellence accreditation in February 2009, we are proud of this achievement as it shows our commitment to quality for all the services we provide.
Resident Involvement
Resident involvement plays a large part in how our services are developed in order to improve our work further whilst fully meeting the needs of our stakeholders, residents and service users.
We offer training and mentoring in order to facilitate our residents and service users to attend meetings throughout the Association.
Friends of Adullam
‘Friends of Adullam’ is a purposeful way of building links with the wider community, so that we can offer the best support and opportunities for vulnerable people. Friends may include; local Churches, Businesses, Clubs Charities and other individuals or groups.
The group was set up in May 2008 and the number of our ‘Friends’ has been growing steadily since then. ‘Friends’ are linked to our projects across the country and add additional opportunities and support to our residents on a long term basis. Our residents typically stay with us for a maximum of two years before moving on to independent living. Through our ‘Friends’ we are seeing opportunities of employment and education, but most of all residents are finding friends on a long term basis for when they do move on.
