Birmingham tenants to be focus on Community Day!

TENANTS of Adullam Homes Housing Association Limited are being invited to find out how they can enhance their lives with an array of employability and training workshops at a partnership community day. The Community Day, organised by Adullam in the West Midlands will open the doors to service users at the Nishkam Centre, Soho Road in Birmingham City Centre on Thursday 19 January 2012.
Adullam tenants will be able to receive first hand advice and knowledge from matt25, Adullam's social enterprise team who specialise in employability training, and recruitment specialist Eden Brown who will carry out workshops on CV writing and interview tips for those seeking employment.

Rachel Thelwell, Senior Project Worker from Adullam West Midlands explained that similar events last year were a big success. She said: "This community day will bring together our residents and the service providers we engage with on a regular basis. It will also offer our residents the chance to gain as much information as they want about any of our service providers." Christine Sharpe, Area Manager for Adullam West Midlands said: "We are committed to reaching out to our tenants in their communities in order to improve our services. It's also very important that our tenants are able to speak to other agencies in the West Midlands so we are happy to help facilitate that through this community day."

The housing association, which offers housing support to those individuals most vulnerable, is dedicated to serving both the existing and future housing needs of people in the West Midlands.
