Adullam Homes Company Slogan

Working Here

Ordinary people, an extraordinary mission.

Adullam works in the community providing support to those in need, through a variety of housing, support and advice services. The Association is a 'not for profit' organisation; all surpluses generated are reinvested into key areas of our work. We are a significant provider to people in need of a support service; this will often, although not exclusively, entail the provision of accommodation with additional support. It may include community based non-residential projects and services delivered to people in their own homes.

Adullam has over 35 years experience in providing services to many of our chosen client groups and the agencies with whom they are involved.

Ordinary People, Extraordinary Benefits.

As you might expect, working with Adullam will give you some extraordinary benefits.
  • Competitive salaries, with annual appraisals.
  • 25 days' annual leave, with a further 8 statutory days for bank holidays. What's more, for every year you work with us you will get an extra day's annual leave - up to a maximum of 30 days.
  • You will have the opportunity to join a pension scheme run by Friends Provident. We will double the payments you make, up to a maximum contribution from us of 10% of your salary. You will have free access to an independent financial adviser to help you choose between the options available to you.
  • Everyone who works with us has the opportunity to join a
non-contributory private health care scheme. If you have regular eye tests or dental care, these costs can be met by the scheme.
  • Provision is made for sick pay depending on your length of service.
  • For staff that need to use their car regularly as part of their job we provide car user allowances and/or mileage payments.
  • We provide life cover of four times your annual salary to your dependents.

Ordinary people, extraordinary training.

Committed, positive and understanding, our people have a flexible approach and a willingness to learn new ways of working. This is why we believe in training our people to be the best, giving them every opportunity for personal and professional development.

Your development starts the minute you join, when you'll begin a structured and comprehensive induction programme. All employees will attend a national induction day as well as receiving local and regional inductions. From then on, you can expect regular discussions with your line manager about your training needs as part of your supervision and appraisal sessions. Our training strategy, backed up by our budgets, demonstrates our firm commitment to providing relevant and high quality training to all our staff. We have identified core training needs for every post, and an annual training programme to support this.

Where it is appropriate for your post, we are happy to help you attain a professional qualification. For example, one of the targets in our Business Plan is that all project workers should obtain the Certificate in Supported Housing.

Extraordinary people need extraordinary training: at Adullam, that's just what you will get.
